The OnMed® station utilizes advanced technology, including thermal imaging to provide patients with a safe, private, and secure consultation with a licensed clinician. An ultra-high definition camera ensures the patient and clinician experience a real-time eye to eye connection. These same high-definition cameras also make it possible for the clinician to look down a patient’s throat or even examine a tiny skin lesion in detail.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a consultation take?
Your consultation as a new patient should take less than 15 minutes on average. Subsequent visits can be completed in just 8 to 12 minutes. Patients, however, are not on the clock — no time limit is placed on a visit. With numerous physicians available, patients do not have to wait long before a consult begins.
How do I know the doctor I'm talking to is qualified?
All OnMed® clinicians are board-certified or board eligible, and fully licensed in the state
the OnMed Station patient is located.
Can I get a prescription?
Yes. Your OnMed® physician may prescribe medications, and the medications are
dispensed directly from the OnMed® Station’s automated pharmacy dispensary -- allowing
you to take your medication with you and skipping a trip to the pharmacy.
Is my information secure and protected?
The OnMed® Station is no different than your doctor’s office or hospital in placing the highest premium on patient privacy. The Station is fully HIPAA compliant. Patient records are not stored in the unit, all data is transferred to a secure cloud server and OnMed® staff has undergone extensive privacy training to protect your medical records.
Does OnMed® Mobile accept health insurance?
Yes, the OnMed® Station accepts most insurance plans.
Who can use the OnMed® app?
Anyone with a smartphone needing to see their physician at their convenience.
